"And without controversy great is the mystery of Godliness: GOD was manifest in the FLESH, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, BELIEVED ON in the world, RECEIVED UP into glory." (1 Timothy 3:16)

Therefore I tell you that no one who is speaking by the Spirit of God says, "Jesus be cursed," and no one can say, "Jesus is Lord," except by the Holy Spirit. (1 Corinthians 12:3)

The Jews gathered around him, saying, "How long will you keep us in suspense? If you are the Christ, tell us plainly." Jesus answered, "I did tell you, but you do not believe. The miracles I do in my Father's name speak for me, but you do not believe because you are not my sheep. My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand. I and the Father are one." (John 10:25)

Remember the former things, those of long ago; I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me. (Isaiah 46:9)

Jesus saith...he that hath seen me hath seen the Father; and how sayest thou then, Shew us the Father? (John 14:9)

While we wait for the blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (Titus 2:13-14)

Their ancestors were great people of God, and Christ himself was a Jew as far as his human nature is concerned. And he is God, who rules over everything and is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. (Romans 9:5)

The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. For we do not preach ourselves, but Jesus Christ as Lord, and ourselves as your servants for Jesus' sake. For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness,"made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (2 Corinthians 4)

No longer will there be any curse. The Throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and His servants will serve Him. They will see his face, and His Name will be on their foreheads. There will be no more night. They will not need the light of a lamp or the light of the sun, for the Lord God will give them light. (Revelation 22:3)

God Jesus

God is the Word.

In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1)

Jesus is the Word.

...the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us... (John 1:14)

God is the first and the last.

I the Lord, the first, and with the last; I am He. (Isaiah 41:4)

Jesus is the first and the last.

Jesus said, "Fear not; I am the first and the last:" (Revelation 1:17)

God Jesus

God never changes.

I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. (Malachi 3:6)

Jesus never changes.

Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever (Hebrews 13:8)

God is the only Saviour.

I, even I, am the LORD, and apart from me there is no savior. (Isaiah 43:11)

Cry out, "Save us, O God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, that we may glory in your praise." (1 Chronicles 16:35)

Declare what is to be, present it— let them take counsel together. Who foretold this long ago, who declared it from the distant past? Was it not I, the LORD ? And there is no God apart from me, a righteous God and a Savior; there is none but me. (Isaiah 45:21)

That we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, and especially of those who believe. (I Timothy 4:10)

The LORD lives! Praise be to my Rock! Exalted be God, the Rock, my Savior!. (2 Samuel 22:47)

Now arise, O LORD God, and come to your resting place, you and the ark of your might. May your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation, may your saints rejoice in your goodness. (2 Chronicles 6:41)

Jesus is the only Saviour.

And we have seen and testify that the Father has sent His Son to be the Savior of the world. (1 John 4:14)

But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen.. (II Peter 3:18)

Simon Peter, a servant and apostle of Jesus Christ, To those who through the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ have received a faith as precious as ours:. (II Peter 1:1)

while we wait for the blessed hope—the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ. (Titus 2:13)

But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ, (Philippians 3:20)

From this man's descendants God has brought to Israel the Savior Jesus, as He promised. (Acts 13:23)

It is by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth .... Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved." (Acts 4:12)

Therefore I endure everything for the sake of the elect, that they too may obtain the Salvation that is in Christ Jesus, with eternal glory. (2 Timothy 2:10)

During the days of Jesus' life on earth, he offered up prayers and petitions with loud cries and tears to the one who could save him from death, and he was heard because of his reverent submission. Although he was a son, he learned obedience from what he suffered and, once made perfect, He became the source of Eternal salvation for all who obey him. (Hebrews 5:9)

God Jesus

God created the universe and earth by Himself.

This is what the LORD says your Redeemer, who formed you in the womb: I am the LORD, who has made all things, who alone stretched out the heavens, who spread out the earth by myself. (Isaiah 44:24)

Jesus Christ created the universe and the earth.

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation. For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. (Colossians 1:16)

 

 

God Jesus

God forgives sins.

Praise the LORD, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases (Psalm 103:2-3)

Who is a God like you, who pardons sin and forgives the transgression of the remnant of his inheritance? You do not stay angry forever but delight to show mercy. (Micah 7:18)

Jesus forgives sins.

When When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven." saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven." (Mark 2:5)

Why does this fellow talk like that? He's blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone? (Mark 2:7 )

God is our redeemer.

But you are our Father, though Abraham does not know us or Israel acknowledge us; you, O LORD, are our Father, our Redeemer from of old is your name. (Isaiah 63:16)

Jesus redeemed us.

While we wait for the blessed hope — the glorious appearing of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good. (Titus 2:13-14)

God Jesus

God is one.

Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God is one LORD. (Deuteronomy 6:4)

Jesus and God are one.

I and my Father are one. (John 10:30)

For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are One. (1 John 5:7)

 

God Jesus

God is the Holy One

Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are Holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed." (Revelation 15:4)

"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom, and knowledge of the Holy One is understanding.. (Proverbs 9:10)

When they see among them their children, the work of my hands, they will keep my name holy; they will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. (Isaiah 29:23)

I am the LORD, your Holy One, Israel's Creator, your King. (Isaiah 43:15)

In that day the remnant of Israel, the survivors of the house of Jacob, will no longer rely on him who struck them down but will truly rely on the LORD, the Holy One of Israel. (Isaiah 10:20)

Jesus is the Holy One.

Because thou wilt not leave my soul in hell, neither wilt thou suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (Acts 2:27)

The God of Abraham, and of Isaac, and of Jacob, the God of our fathers, hath glorified his Son Jesus; whom ye delivered up, and denied him in the presence of Pilate, when he was determined to let him go. But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you; (Acts 3:13)

And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said on this wise, I will give you the sure mercies of David. Wherefore he saith also in another psalm, Thou shalt not suffer thine Holy One to see corruption. (Acts 13:34-35)

God Jesus

Only God is worshiped.

Do not worship any other god, for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God. (Exodus 34:14)

If you ever forget the LORD your God and follow other gods and worship and bow down to them, I testify against you today that you will surely be destroyed.(Deuteronomy 8:19)

Jesus said to him, "Away from me, Satan! For it is written: 'Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only.' (Matthew 4:10)

Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker; (Psalm 95:6)

Exalt the LORD our God and worship at his footstool; he is holy. (Psalm 99:5)

The LORD will be awesome to them when he destroys all the gods of the land. The nations on every shore will worship him, every one in its own land. (Zephaniah 2:11)

I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I had heard and seen them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing them to me. But he said to me, "Do not do it! I am a fellow servant with you and with your brothers the prophets and of all who keep the words of this book. Worship God!" (Revelation 22:8-10)

He said in a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory, because the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heavens, the earth, the sea and the springs of water." (Revelation 14:7)

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, (Hebrews 12:28)

Jesus is worshiped.

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. (Matthew 2:11)

Jesus heard that they had thrown him out, and when he found him, he said, "Do you believe in the Son of Man?" "Who is he, sir?" the man asked. "Tell me so that I may believe in him." Jesus said, "You have now seen him; in fact, he is the one speaking with you." Then the man said, "Lord, I believe," and he worshiped him. Jesus said, "For judgment I have come into this world, so that the blind will see and those who see will become blind." (John 9:35)

Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. "You of little faith," he said, "why did you doubt?" And when they climbed into the boat, the wind died down. Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, "Truly you are the Son of God." (Matthew 14:32)

When he(Jesus) had led them out to the vicinity of Bethany, he(Jesus) lifted up his hands and blessed them. While he(Jesus) was blessing them, he left them and was taken up into heaven. Then they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy. And they stayed continually at the temple, praising God. (Luke 24:50)

And again, when [God] bringeth in the firstbegotten [Jesus] into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. (Hebrews 1:6)

Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. (Matthew 28:16-18)

So the women hurried away from the tomb, afraid yet filled with joy, and ran to tell his disciples. 9Suddenly Jesus met them. "Greetings," he said. They came to him, clasped his feet and worshiped him. Then Jesus said to them, "Do not be afraid. Go and tell my brothers to go to Galilee; there they will see me." (Matthew 28:8-10 )

 

God Jesus

Only God is glorified.

I am the LORD: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another... (Isaiah 42:8)

God glorified Jesus.

Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. (John 17:24)

The Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact representation of his being, sustaining all things by his powerful word. (Hebrews 1:1-3)

God is 'I am'.

And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you. (Exodus 3:14)

Jesus is 'I am'.

Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. (John 8:58)

God I am He.

"You are my witnesses," declares the LORD, "and my servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe me and understand that I am he. Before me no god was formed, nor will there be one after me. (Isaiah 43:10)

Yes, and from ancient days I am he. No one can deliver out of my hand. When I act, who can reverse it?" (Isaiah 43:13)

Listen to me, O Jacob, Israel, whom I have called: I am he; I am the first and I am the last. (Isaiah 48:12)

Jesus I am He.

"I am telling you now before it happens, so that when it does happen you will believe that I am He. (John 13:19)

The woman said, "I know that Messiah" (called Christ) "is coming. When he comes, he will explain everything to us." Then Jesus declared, "I who speak to you am He." (John 4:25)

God Jesus

God heals all diseases.

Bless the LORD...who healeth all thy diseases. (Psalms 103:2)

Jesus heals all diseases.

When evening came, many who were demon-possessed were brought to him, and he drove out the spirits with a word and healed all the sick. (Matthew 8:16)

Aware of this, Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed him, and he healed all their sick, (Matthew 12:15)

And wherever he went—into villages, towns or countryside—they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed. (Mark 6:56)

God is the Judge of the whole earth.

O Lord God, to whom vengeance belongeth; O God, to whom vengeance belongeth, shew thyself. Lift up thyself, thou judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud. (Psalms 94:1-2)

[Abraham to God]...Shall not the Judge of all the earth do right? (Genesis 18:25)

Jesus is the Judge of the whole earth.

The Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son: (John 5:22)

God Jesus

God has life in Himself.

The Father hath life in himself; (John 5:26)

Jesus has life in Himself.

so hath God given to the Son to have life in himself; (John 5:26)

In Jesus was life; and the life was the light of men. (John 1:4)

God raises the dead.

The Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; (John 5:21)

Jesus raises the dead.

The Son quickeneth whom he will. (John 5:21)

 

 

God Jesus

The Name of God.

All the nations may walk in the name of their gods; we will walk in the name of the LORD our God for ever and ever. (Micah 4:5)

Fear the LORD your God, serve him only and take your oaths in his name. (Deuteronomy 6:13)

Cry out, "Save us, O God our Savior; gather us and deliver us from the nations, that we may give thanks to your holy name, that we may glory in your praise." (1 Chronicles 16:35)

The Name of Jesus.

Therefore God exalted him to the highest place and gave him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (John 1:14)

And whatever you do, whether in word or deed, do it all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him. (Colossians 3:17)

We pray this so that the name of our Lord Jesus may be glorified in you, and you in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. (2 Thessalonians 1:12)

He is dressed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is the Word of God. (Revelation 19:13)

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the FATHER, THE WORD, AND THE HOLY GHOST: and THESE THREE ARE ONE." (1 John 5:7)

For God, who said, "Let light shine out of darkness,"made his light shine in our hearts to give us the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Christ. (II Corinthians 4:6)

For in Christ all the fullness of the Deity lives in bodily form (Colossians 2:9)

"...they shall call his name EMMANUEL, which being interpreted is, GOD WITH US." (Matthew 1:23)
